Robert Pattinson plays an old vampire in Twilight, so it makes sense that he likes old furniture, right?
OK, maybe not.
But we did just get word that R. Patz spent a nice chunk of time
yesterday shopping at one of L.A.'s most popular vintage stores.
Pattinson and a pal spent more than two hours sifting through the items
at T.I.N.I., a two-year-old store just steps away from the Los Angeles
County Museum of Art.
He spent almost $550 total on a small green distressed wood bench, an
industrial gray desk lamp and a really cool metal pipe floor lamp,
according to a source.
And no, Mr. Pattinson didn't mention Kristen Stewart while he browsed
and shopped, but the source did say that Rob mentioned that the
purchases were for his L.A. area home.
"He took a couple of photos with some other shoppers," the source said. "He was very nice."

Robert Pattinson was spotted Wednesday in Los Angeles shopping at the popular vintage furniture store This is Not Ikea (T.I.N.I). Twitter blew up with the sightings yesterday, and we have a few more details about the casual sighting.
Rob was with one of his best guy friends, and was in a great mood.
“He was really friendly, and happily posed for pictures with some fans,” a spokesman for T.I.N.I said. “He said he was shopping for furniture for his place.”
R.Pattz picked up a couple of metal lamps and a distressed wooden bench.
Here’s hoping he’s getting ready for his love nest part two with Kristen Stewart! Remember, the two stayed together in LA during summer 2010. Stewart is still filming Snow White and the Huntsman in London.
Despite some of Twitter’s best crazies trying to stir up trouble, Rob and Kristen are good as ever, sources assure.
Pattinson donned a white tee, some scruff and a baseball cap for his outing yesterday- the same cap and scruff Celebuzz told you he was sporting at Jimmy Fallon‘s A-List Emmys bash.
Here’s hoping Rob’s LA pad stays hidden this time.
